At Morgan's Wonderland there is a special area of the park in which the names of loved ones who have passed away are engraved to honor their memory.

One of our recipients Stephen Shifferly was added to the Memorial Wall this year. Stephen was a Project Angel Fares recipient back in September 2013, and gained his angel wings in December 2013.

If you ever get the chance to visit Morgan's Wonderland stop by the Memorial Wall and join us in honoring one of our forever friends.

“Words truly fail me.  My son was treated like a king.  This was such a special trip, so many memories made.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!”  Rachel L.  - New York

“Project Angel Fares is AMAZING!  Every little detail was taken care of and they did everything they could to make sure we had a wonderful time despite the rain that came in.  I will be forever grateful to everyone at PAF for making this happen for us.  I highly recommend them to everyone!”  Tiffany L. - Georgia

Project Angel Fares is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was formed in 2011 with the goal of "Providing Special Friends With Special Dreams". Project Angel Fares benefits the special needs community by providing families outside of San Antonio who cannot afford to travel, the opportunity to visit San Antonio, Morgan's Wonderland & Inspiration Island with a 4 day, 3 night trip of a lifetime with paid travel expenses.

Inspired by an episode on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", my wife and I were moved by a story of a young man Jake Grys. Born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle-bone disease) and dwarfism, it was at the moment Jake Grys touched our hearts forever. Despite his life threatening disease, the fact that he continues to break bones monthly, this young man is remarkable! His story and beautiful spirit motivated us to help bring joy to others like Jake that may not have financial means. Newly opened handicapped accessible park, Morgan's Wonderland & Inspiration Island, had just been built in San Antonio.

Our idea was shared with family and friends including Gordon Hartman- Founder of Morgan's Wonderland & Inspiration Island. Encouraged by their excitement and enthusiasm, Project Angel Fares was formed.

Our unique charity gives special needs individuals and their families a chance to visit San Antonio and a very special theme park with only their needs in mind. Thanks to Morgan's Wonderland and our very special inspiration Jake Grys and his family, we are able to provide a means for an amazing day.
